Student Enrolments

Tokoroa Intermediate School caters to year 7 and 8 students. Our goal is to prepare students for the transition into high school. We value a positive learning environment built on honesty, diligence, trust, excellence and respect.

For 2022 student enrolments please ring the school office for an appointment or feel free to come in and visit us. We can show you around our school and answer any questions you may have.

Liaison Process for new Year 7 students 

Our 2022 Prospectus can be located at the top of this page.

 

For Year 7's looking at enroling for 2023, the updated prospectus will be available and enrolments forms at the beginning of Term 3. These will be able to be accessed through the school website and/or hard copies will be distributed to our contributing primary schools.

We encourage whānau to complete our online enrolment form (or return a completed hard copy with supporting documents to their Primary School) by the end of Term 3.

 

Term 4 is when we are normally in full swing of the transition for our incoming students, and it is our intention to make your child's transition to our school as stress-free and enjoyable as possible. We place a lot of emphasis and importance on transitions for our incoming students and have spent some time working out the best way to proceed given these uncertain times.

2023 Transition Events

​

  • Visits to Contributing Schools
    We hope to visit our local contributing primary schools early in Term 4.  At this visit we will be bringing back current Student Leaders from each contributing primary school and will hold a Q and A session with the Year 6 students.
     

  • Whānau Information Sessions 
    Wednesday, 26 October 2022
    1.30 pm and 5:30 pm
     

  • Year 6 Open Day
    Thursday, 27 October 2022
     

  • Orientation Day
    Tuesday, 22 November 2022 
    Students will meet their 2023 teacher on this day.
